Quiet mare that could be finished for the show ring or to ride quietly down the trails. This horse was not started under saddle until she was four and not ridden very much as a five year old. I would still consider her green broke. She steers around the ring and does walk, trot, and canter but needs work on consistency and transitions. She is nervous when you first climb on her for about the first five minutes and then rides calm and willing. She does not do anything terrible but does need work just getting acclimated to things. She has extremely smooth gaits both at the jog and lope. She has only been ridden western so far. Her ground manners are excellent and she has a quiet eye and a quiet nature about her. She has been ridden primarily english for the last couple of years by a mom and her daughter. We are riding her western and she has no problems. She neck reins great, takes her leads, and is handy to ride. She has more feel than a timid beginner would be comfortable with but is easy to ride for our students with a little experience. She has had lots and lots of trail miles and is safe enough for anyone at all to ride on the trails. We have taken her out on a 4 day camping trip as well and multiple day rides with riders of all experience levels.
