Super cute gelding for the trails or your family. Here is a smaller horse that is the perfect size for kids or small adults. He can be rated as a 1 on the temperament scale and is used for brand new riders in our program. “Canolli” has a stocky build and an easy keeper shape. He lives out in our pasture on just hay and holds his weight nicely. This horse has been trail ridden a lot. He also rides nice in the arena and is working great in our program. He neck reins with the best of them and is smooth to ride. Anyone can learn to lope on this horse. His manners are wonderful and he loves people. His cute face and quiet demeanor will win you over. He will occasionally play with his bridle when he is ridden but has no vices or surprises.

Nice trail family horse with great color. “Bond” was originally sold here two years ago and belonged to a family that just wasn’t riding much so we bought him back and he is working in our program like he never left. He is a kind horse with great manners. He had some show training when he was younger but was never shown. He could work for 4-H with some tuning. He has been doing mainly back yard riding for the last couple years and is now working in our lesson program from advanced beginners on up. He neck reins well and takes his leads. He is smooth to ride and has a willing attitude. This horse is a mild cribber.

Beautiful registered Spotted Saddle Horse! “Dove” has been the backbone of our lesson program for many years. We have owned her since 2001 and have used her almost daily. She has taught many, many kids and adults how to ride. She is not gaited but will be the smoothest horse you have ever jogged and loped on. This is the horse we use when we have a student that is ready to try loping or cantering for the first time because she is so steady and smooth. She rides for students as young as 5 yrs old and is easy to steer and control. She is the easiest of keepers and lives outside 24/7. She has been pasture kept for half of her life and would need adequate turnout and probably an adjustment period if kept inside. This horse has big sturdy hooves and has always been barefoot. She is never sick and never lame. “Dove” was owned and trail ridden for several years before we bought her. She was an excellent trail horse but has not been out on the trails since 2001. She is great when clipping her head but does not like to have her legs clipped. She is also a little “cinchy” when you saddle her. Here is your chance to own one of the best we have ever had! This horse can make a novice feel like they know how to ride.

Fun trail horse that has worked all summer in a kids riding camp in southern Illinois. "Candy" is a safe and sensible mount that works well in our program. She will ride for an intermediate level riders or an aggressive advanced beginner. She is a little more responsive than our very beginner horses but if you have ridden at all you will really enjoy her. She is forward moving and will ride english or western. She neck reins pretty good but does direct rein better. We use her for group lessons and privates. She loves to work outdoors and loves to trail ride. She was used for guided trail rides at camp with many different riders. She is never spooky to ride and is good to handle. This horse is at the top of the pecking order in a herd situation and will be the dominant horse.
