Riding Lessons @ Timmermanns

Thinking about learning how to ride? Timmermanns has been teaching riding lessons for over 30 years. Not only is riding great fun but it is also great exercise and improves balance and coordination. Lessons are available for students 6 years and up. It is never too later to learn to ride a horse. We have many adult lessons as well as kids lessons. For your youngest riders ages 6 and under we also offer pony rides. We can also do semi-private lessons if the whole family would like to ride together at one time. Our instructors are very patient and experienced and can work with all level riders from novice to expert. We teach both western and english (huntseat). We do not teach jumping but can teach you all of the basics you need to learn before you learn to jump. We do teach showing and also barrel racing and speed events. We have an excellent selection of lesson horses and are always keeping our riders safe yet challenged. We are also very good at working with timid riders and those riders that have fear issues. We teach each rider according to their individual needs, goals, and schedules. Feel free to call us and discuss any questions you may have or to set up your lesson with one of our instructors.
